Position: ETL (SSIS) Developer Location: Costa Mesa, CA (Locals Only and in person interview) Duration: 6 Months Job Description: Data Warehouse ETL developer is responsible for ETL development in Microsoft SQL Server environment and all aspects of data warehouse reporting. The objective is to transition legacy data warehouse to a structure focused on supporting customer behavior analytics. * Work as part of a team to deliver federated dimensional model for growing online consumer subscription service. * Play key role in adding data to the Data Warehouse through development of source to targets maps and transformation rules. * Participate in requirement definition, solution development and implementation phases of data warehouse and reporting projects. * Implement ETL for data models and support Cognos FM, cube, and report development. * Create and maintain ETL specifications and process documentation to produce the required data deliverables (data profiling, source to target maps, ETL flows). * Assist in definition of logical and physical data models B2C ecommerce business. * Configure and tune ETL infrastructure to optimize the data warehousing architecture * Troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues. * Champion and manage new initiatives to completion to improve and streamline operations processes and maximize systems efficiency. Skills Required: * Passionate ETL resource with expertise in SQL Server - SSIS, SQL queries and stored procedures and dimensional modeling. * Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (preferably Cognos BI tools: Framework Manager, Power Play, ReportNet). * Extensive experience with data warehouse concepts and methodologies. * Experience with database design & modeling. * Must have working experience in ecommerce industry and web analytics * Good written and oral communication skills; excellent technical skills. * Highly motivated self-starter, detail and quality oriented and able to work independently * Experience with data modeling tool (ER/Studio) * Education: BS degree or higher in MIS or engineering fields Minimum Years of Relevant Experience: 3 year Please provide me the following details: Present Location: Relocation: Availability : Visa Status : H1/GC/CZ/EAD : Employer Details (If H1/ EAD): Two references with reference detail like title and contact detail on the project – References: 1.
