| Job Description: | Job Tittle : Mainframe Developer with .NET EXP Location : Boston,MA ( Local Only ) Duration: 8+ Month Contract Rate : DOE In-person interview Required Skills: 6+ years of experience in a Mainframe environment 6+ years of COBOL, JCL and Easytrieve 5+ years of developing ASP.NET Web applications with VB.NET or C# is required 3+ years of developing Windows applications is required Experience with Tibco Enterprise Service Bus helpful Developing Web Services is helpful. ? 6 Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC is helpful Understanding of different Software Development methodologies is required Ability to communicate effectively when dealing with internal clients, vendors, and offshore developers both in writing and orally is required Should be a self starter, independent worker and self learner Ability to troubleshoot issues is required Experience with data modeling, SQL queries and stored procedure is a must Comprehensive working knowledge for both Windows and IIS Web server environments Skilled in IBM Rational ClearCase, CVS or Subversion Version Control Ability to work in a globally distributed team is required Knowledge of financial and accounting systems 5+ yrs experience - Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products Revises and refines systems as required Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of business systems Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications Strong communication skills are required as position will interact with business owners 3-5 years of prior software development experience required Adam Smith DWLABS INC |
