Hi partner,

Good Morning,

I currently have a 6 month contract with a possibility of extension up to 3 years in Lincolnshire, IL. They are looking for a Monitoring Tools Architect for their Monitoring Group for their Loyalty project.

Design monitoring and performance management capability for Loyalty using Enterprise Monitoring reference architecture. Determine what to monitor on all layers of Loyalty stack - then design per requirements. Determine event and alert escalations and design parameters for Tivoli, Foglight, and SMARTS. Requirements gathering for loyalty project. Scope of whats involved of servers, touchpoints, and to determine what will be monitored. This is a Sr. level enterprise environment, this person will be working closely with SMEs to help determine architecture.

Years of experience needed: 6 years

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Interview: phone then in person

Bill Rate: 60/hr

Communication skills are EXTREMELY important!

Networking background
Communication and Documentation are very important
Help assist in solutions
MS office 2003
Experience with analysis and design
Experience deploying Tivoli Monitoring Tools
Translating user requirements to monitoring solutions is what is needed.
