Location: Indianapolis, IN
Duration: 4 Months plus possible extension
Seeking a Senior Oracle Applications Developer to play a pivotal role in the development of new features for our internal systems. You will work closely with the Functional team to develop product requirements and implement these requirements in the development and configuration process. As a member of the team, you will join a group of designer and developers who are experts in database design and programming, specifically Oracle 10g (stored procedures, packages, functions, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher). Experience with ERWin data modeler and batch job control software (ActiveBatch, or something similar like AutoSys), SQL Server or Linux experience is a plus. Deep technical knowledge of Oracle’s eBusiness Suite (AR, GL, AP) along with Incentive Compensation, iExpense, Service Contracts, or Oracle Projects is a plus.
Develop requirements based on design specifications.
Development of Oracle Forms to support Revenue Recognition requirements for internal clients.
Research problems discovered by QA and develop solutions to the problems.
Develop scalable solutions based on the requirements defined by the Oracle Business Analyst
Ability to write technical requirements and associated test plans.
Ability to troubleshoot and fix support issues as they arise.
Be flexible and capable of working with little direction.
Developer Technical Requirements
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business, software engineering or computer science.
Custom form and Oracle Report development in Oracle Applications required.
Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL (10g or above) and querying Oracle Applications tables.
Experience with TOAD.
BI Publisher, XML Publisher is a plus.
At least 5+ years of technical experience in an Oracle software development environment.
Working knowledge of the software design lifecycle.
Source control knowledge- TFS and/or SourceSafe experience is a plus.
SQL server (2000/2005/2008) client tools is a plus.
Proficient in T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SQL Server 2005 or above is a plus.
Proficient in Data Modeling (ERWin is a plus, but not required, other modeling tools are acceptable).
Ability to conduct formal and informal meetings
