Must be able to develop test cases without a GUI interface. Acxiom has a homegrown automated testing tool very similar to Loadrunner and they look for people with a solid mix between automated and manual testing. Strong SQL is needed, PL/SQl too. If they dont know the commands Select, Joint, Union for queries they wouldnt be a fit. Oracle database and UNIX. The Test Analyst is primarily responsible for the analysis, design, planning, execution and maintenance of automated and manual testing, reporting of test results and defect management. Duties and Responsibilities: *Executes test cases / Scripts and analyzes outcomes. *Performs testing and documenting the actual results. *Performs all aspects of defect tracking. *Creates test data if required. *Develop test scripts, test conditions, test procedures and expected results for one or more test plans, including product, component, assembly, performance, and user acceptance tests. *Develop and maintain testing standards and procedures. *Execute test scripts. *Validate fixes and ensures follow through to all test cycles. *Inform the test lead of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process. *Reporting bugs for analysis. *Documenting the actual results and metrics. *Analyzes defects to determine root cause. *Communicating execution status to the Test Manager. *Organizes testing execution and results. *Maintains information in appropriate testing tools. Required Skills: *SQL *Knowledge of database and integration testing *Proven written and verbal communication skills *2 years experience in testing Anju Entellects Corp. |
