| Job Description: | Hello, We have an opening as a Datastage Developer in the Atlanta area in the financial industry . This is a 6 month contract and they are looking for someone who has experience migrating data from DB2 to Oracle. The rate is negotiable at 50 an hour. This person needs to have experience using Datastage Parallel Extender. I have left a brief job description of the role below. Please send any candidates that you have available. Thanks so much! Knowledge of data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, SQL, end-user tools, database and SQL performance tuning At least 6 years of recent IBM Data Stage developer experience -–Version 7.5 & 8 required –require experience with Parallel engine Must have extensive experience with EBCDIC data Must have extensive experience with CFF stage DataStage job level performance tuning experience – 6+ years Experience using Quality Stage – 2 years Junior level DataStage administration experience – 2+ years DataStage environment performance tuning experience – 2+ years Strong Unix shell scripting experience required - AWK experience preferred Oracle database experience (Must have 10G & 11G preferred) required DB2 Connect experience required Ability to analyze query plans, indexes, and locking behavior Build detailed source to target maps Understanding of dimensional and normalized modeling concepts Please send the updated resume of the consultant along with the rate, location and contact information.
