Hi Partner,

Hello,

We have an opening for a Senior Production Oracle DBA in the Sandy Springs, GA in the insurance industry . This person needs to have at least 2 years experience with 11G. This is a 6 month contract and they are looking to interview early next week. This resource must be local to Atlanta as the interview process is a straight face to face. The rate we are looking at $40 to $42/hr. I have left a brief job description of the role below. Please send any candidates that you have available. Thanks so much!

2+ years of 11g experience
Good amount of Oracle database experience
In depth knowledge of Oracle database internal (i.e. database parameters, memory / data file / tablespace structure, optimizer features, etc)
In depth knowledge of 11g database optimizer
Hands on experience implementing Oracle features (Parallel Processing, Replication, Partitioning, data warehouse) on multi terabytes databases
Experience with tuning database parameters, memory and I/O
Experience troubleshooting performance issues on hybrid databases (i.e. databases that support both OLTP and DSS operations)
Experience with Sun Solaris 10
